Experimental results on the auc of the bi-generalized exponential roc model using spread sheet functions

In medical diagnosis, testing of the performance of a particular diagnostic test is a common and good practice, after classifying the subjects in to different groups by various classification techniques, in particularly binary classification. Assessment of the performance of a diagnostic test can be achieved by Area under the Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve, simply denoted by AUC. For Diseased (D) and Healthy (H) normal populations, Bi-exponential model gives a closed form expression to the Area under the Curve (AUC).

Open access initiative and open doar as a champion of open access repositories in the world

Institutional Repositories (IR) disseminates rich source of digitized material drafted and published by scholars. Many of the research institutions and universities across the world are facilitating open access (OA) to their intellectual outputs through their respective OAIR (Open access Institutional Repositories.

Coffee supply chain using blockchain

The evolution of supply chains has raised the bar significantly. However, it is still challenging to track the data and maintain its traceability. This paper presents a blockchain-based solution that enables the farmers to easily manage their supply chain. Although blockchain has many advantages, it still lacks many features that can improve the efficiency and transparency of the supply chain. This paper proposes a system that can provide reliable and secure solutions for the management of agricultural products.

Technology acceptance model (tam) as an underpinning to in understanding teachers’ intention impact of data show projector

The present study focuses on highlighting the extent to which the TAM is applicable. A random sample consisting of 6480 teachers was randomly selected for the study. For data collection, the author used a questionnaire, which was derived from relevant literature. The employment of Data Show Projectors in teaching Mathematics is influenced by a variety of factors, which chiefly include what is known as computer anxiety (abbreviated as CA). The study shows that CA has a negative effect on PE.

Angiogenic potential of xanthium strumarium leaves methanolic extract

Wound healing activity of methanolic extract of leaves of Xanthium strumarium was studied by Chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) model (In vitro) in 12days old embryonated chicken eggs. The extract also promoted angiogenesis as evidenced by CAM model. The results suggested that methanolic extract of Xanthium strumarium possess significant wound healing potential in normal wound.

A New distance measure on pythagorean fuzzy sets and its application to decision making

Based on integral and area, we construct a new distance for Pythagorean fuzzy set. Compared with Euclidean distance which may fail in some cases, the new distance has its advantages that can be seen by a numerical example. In addition, basic properties of the new distance are discussed. Moreover, we propose a modified TOPSIS approach based on this newly proposed distance measure. Finally, a practical example is presented to testify the efficiency and application of this new approach.
