Efficacy of self instructional module [sim] on primary school teacher’s knowledge regarding identification of learning disability in school children

Learning disabilities is a genetic term that refers to a heterogeneous group of disorders manifested by significant difficulties in the acquisition and use of listening ,speaking ,reading ,writing ,reasoning or mathematical ability. The study was planned to assess the effectiveness of SIM on knowledge regarding identification of learning disability in school children among primary school teachers in selected schools of Bhopal. Pre-experimental approach with one group pretest posttest design was used for 30 school teachers.

Evaluation of coagulation profile among sudanese pregnant ladies at consult center

This Normal pregnancy is considered as hypercoagulable state; a physiological safety aimed at preventing excessive maternal blood loss at delivery. The study aimed to evaluate the influence of normal pregnancy on coagulation profile (PT, APTT and TT) Platelet count and to explore changes in activity from the first through the third trimester. This case control study was performed in consult center in Sudan. A total of forty five (45) apparently healthy pregnant women (15 from each trimester) and 30 healthy non-pregnant age-matched controls were recruited.

Arelated social support of families with degrees depression on elderly living together with family in work area of roses posyandu cape town health sengkuang batam, Indonesia

The elderly are the elderly are susceptible to depression. One risk factor for depression in the elderly is a lack of social support. Social support obtained from the family nearby. The family is the primary support system for the old in maintaining their health. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship of social support of families with the degree of depression in the elderly who live with their families. Design of this research is the analytic survey with cross-sectional approach. Samples are old who live with the family. The sampling technique used purposive sampling.

Radicular cysts and treatment concepts

The maxillofacial region is affected by a greater number of cysts than any other part of the body. Periapical radiolucencies are commonly associated with non vital teeth. Radicular cysts are the most common odontogenic cystic lesions of inflammatory origin. It is a true cyst as the lesion consists of a pathologic cavity lined by epithelium and is often fluid filled. This condition is usually asymptomatic but can result in slow growth tumefaction in the affected region. Cysts can be managed surgically or non-surgically depending on the site and size of the cyst.

Periodontal changes in patients after head and neck radiation therapy

Conventional radiotherapy may affect tissues adjacent to the tumour site which may include the oral cavity. This may lead to complications such as mucositis, xerostomia, dysgeusia, opportunistic infections as well as periodontal attachment loss. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential impact of head and neck radiation therapy on periodontal status. This is an observational cross sectional study.

Digitalization in dentistry

Digitalization in dentistry has made dentistry easier, faster, better, and overall most enjoyable. It has increased the horizons by incorporating computer-controlled components in contrast to that of mechanical or electrical alone. Digital imaging techniques have minimised the time needed for processing with extremely low radiation exposure. It also allows for necessary image magnification and measurement. Today’s dental practice ranges from the detection, diagnosis and treatment of the disease with special emphasis on the regeneration, reconstruction and replacement of dental tissues.

The political and historical view of the past and present of the azerbaijani people, which has been a result of genocide by the armenian terrorism over the past hundred years

The article analyzes some political and historical aspects of Genocide of Azerbaijan was committed in Baku, Shamakhi, Guba districts, as well as Garabagh, Zangazur, Nakchivan, Lankaran and other regions of Azerbaijan with special brutality.In these areas peaceful pollution was slaughtered, villages were burnt, national and cultural monuments were totally destroyed. At the same time, the author comes to a single conclusion by conducting a comparative analysis at the international level.

Effect of educational program about prevention of blood borne diseases for hospital housekeepers in public hospitals - khartoum state

Background: Hospital housekeepers are persons employed by hospital to manage sanitary works, by virtue of their job, can get blood borne diseasesfrom patient’s fomite, contaminated environment, patient’s specimens, and by handling infected waste either by direct or indirect contact. The most common examples of these diseases are human immune deficiency virus, hepatitis B and hepatitis C. Aim of the study: wasto evaluate the effectiveness of health education program on hospital housekeepers.

A precision attachment is mechanical devices made up of two or more parts. One part is connected to a tooth, root or implant, the other to an artificial prosthesis to provide mechanical connection between the two. Attachments are used as alternative to clasps in removable partial denture therapy for both aesthetic and functional purpose. Their application is not only limited to removable partial dentures, but has a broader usage in fixed bridges, over dentures, implant supported dentures as well.
